What does the role involve?

This role is Located In Leeds and will require 1 onsite office day per week. 

In this role, you'll be part of the FP&A team at Novuna Consumer Finance, where you'll maintain and enhance business-critical pricing models and profitability reporting tools. You'll deliver timely financial analysis and insights that help drive informed commercial decisions, while also supporting the team in improving processes, systems, and controls to enable the profitable growth of the business.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Maintaining and improve Databricks-based profitability models, ensuring accuracy and performance insights
  • Maintaining and enhance MS Excel pricing models for new business
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly MI reports with variance analysis against KPIs.
  • Analysis of large financial and operational datasets to identify risks and opportunities, presenting findings clearly

What are we looking for?

You'll be a confident analyst with a solid understanding of data management and coding, ready to apply your skills in a commercial finance setting. Comfortable working with Databricks and MS Excel, you'll use these tools to maintain and improve business reporting modules and pricing models. You'll also enjoy creating insightful, value-added MI using a range of reporting tools to support informed decision-making.

Also, we're looking for the following: 

  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of coding languages inc. SQL, Python and VBA
  • Expert level MS-Excel knowledge
  • A drive to turn data into insights in a fast-moving commercial finance setting
  • Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
