What does the role involve?
Reporting to our Head of Credit Risk, as our National Audit Manager, you'll lead a talented team of six Field Auditors, helping shape a function that's innovative, efficient and future-ready. The audit and survey function has got strong foundations in place and we are looking for someone who can put their own stamp on things and contribute strongly to our credit strategy.
This is a home-based role with travel across the UK to meet clients when needed.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Day-to-day management of our team of auditors, including coaching and mentoring
- Conducting audits for top-tier clients and prospects
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Driving innovation through tech—think automation, digitisation, and data-led decision making
What are we looking for?
You'll have strong knowledge of invoice finance and asset based lending and will be looking for a role where you have a chance to make a difference. You'll have strong leadership skills, ideally with previous people leadership experience along with exposure to coaching and mentoring.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Good knowledge of risk management with exposure to conducting audits and surveys
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with senior colleagues and third parties
- A curious mindset—someone who keeps up with market trends and tech innovations
- Confidence with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), exposure to other tools e.g. PowerBI would be a bonus!
