What you'll do.

Reporting to our Application Support Team Lead, you'll step into a pivotal role as our Principal Application Engineer. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and databases built on Oracle technologies. 

You'll:

  • Work with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, performance tuning, data integration, and supporting business-critical systems
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline support processes
  • Support the team in adopting new technologies and establish best‑practice guidelines
  • Mentor Application Support Engineers and step in for management responsibilities when needed

What you'll bring.

You'll have good knowledge of Oracle Development and a solid understanding of how applications and systems are supported. You'll be passionate about learning, experimenting, and embracing new technologies.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle technologies including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (ideally AWS or Azure) and their monitoring toolsets
  • A good grasp of API technologies and RESTful services
  • The ability to write scripts or code in at least one language (Python, XML, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java, etc.)
