What you'll do.
Reporting into our Strategic Account Manager, you'll be the technical subject‑matter expert on all aspects of building vehicles to complex specifications across cars, LCVs and HGVs – a truly specialist role. You'll support one of our key high‑profile customers, ensuring all specifications are developed in line with customer policies, health and safety guidance and relevant legislation, while continually seeking opportunities to enhance productivity and identify cost efficiencies.
You'll also:
- Liaising with manufactures, dealers, Bodybuilders and convertors and working with our pricing team to maintain the master pricing file
- Building, managing and maintaining the specification catalogue and version control
- Managing the timely delivery and communication of pricing for vehicles
- Proactively identifying and implementing fleet / asset initiatives to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
What you'll bring.
To be considered for this role, you'll bring proven knowledge and skills in designing specifications for commercial vehicles, along with a strong understanding of the vehicle leasing industry. We're looking for a well‑rounded commercial vehicle and engineering professional who is highly organised and confident working across a variety of build requirements. This role gives you the freedom to innovate, collaborate directly with the customer, and play a key part in driving efficiencies and delivering cost savings across their fleet and build projects.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- The ability to make sound commercial business decisions, supported by strong knowledge of managing budgets and working to sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to interact effectively with stakeholders, suppliers and customers
- Strong relationship‑management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the business
- The determination to proactively drive new vehicle sales opportunities and deliver commercial value
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a wide range of administrative and office‑based tasks, supported by excellent Excel and computer skills.
