What does the role involve?

As Business Development Manager Europe your primary responsibility will be to identify and deliver new vendor finance programme opportunities across the geographies in which Mitsubishi HC Capital is active from your own initiatives and group introductions. 
 
You'll work in collaboration with the Business Development Team, Sales Teams and other business units to deliver vendor programmes that meet the volume, margin and risk appetite objectives of the Mitsubishi HC Capital group and deliver good practice in terms of programme management and controls.You will be expected to negotiate and present to vendors and customers at CFO/ CEO levels, work with legal and tax advisors and internal stakeholders to progress financial solutions that meet our vendor's requirements. In collaboration with the Business Development Team and Managing Director, you will participate in designing and developing strategies for our sustainable growth. You will work collaboratively with other leaders to help our expansion in Europe and create opportunities to support the success of Mitsubishi HC Capital. 

Some of your key duties will include:

• Developing existing group relationships in the UK and Europe, delivering financial solutions to vendors and their customers
• Identifying new market sectors and support product, pricing, and programme design
• Building strong relationships with vendors, customers and internal stakeholders up to C‑Suite level
• Supporting projects such as acquisitions, portfolio sales and preparation of cash‑flow analysis

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills. Someone able to think strategically and make sound commercial business decisions. A team player who can build relationships at all levels and collaborate with and influence senior colleagues. 

Also, we're looking for the following: 

• Strong knowledge of vendor finance programmes across a variety of different asset classes and products including receivables purchase, invoice discounting and structured asset finance products 
• Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly with multiple internal and external stakeholders up to CFO/CEO level . 
• Knowledge of credit risk, documentation, tax, regulation, CRM systems and/or operations in asset finance 
• Knowledge of the construction, transport, industrial, IT and medical equipment finance markets 
• Location in Netherlands and language skills preferable
