What you'll do.
We're looking for a motivated HR Advisor to join our team, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner. This role supports colleagues and people leaders in our Vehicle Solutions business unit, where you'll have plenty of opportunity to make a real impact beyond day-to-day operations.
You'll handle a varied caseload of employee relations (ER) matters, offering sound advice and coaching to managers on best practice. You'll also have the opportunity to support on organisational development and contribute to the delivery of our People Plan, giving you exposure to stakeholders across the business and helping you develop as a commercially minded HR practitioner.
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days per week based in our Trowbridge office.
You'll also:
- Provide practical support and advice on ER issues including workplace relations and performance management
- Support the HRBP with organisational change initiatives
- Coach managers through disciplinary, capability, and grievance procedures
- Act as the go-to contact for employee lifecycle events such as maternity, flexible working, and occupational health, while liaising with People Services on contractual matters
- Manage the Exit interview process and provide feedback through effective analysis
What you'll bring.
You're passionate about HR and excited by the opportunity to support people and drive positive outcomes. You're a strong communicator, great at listening and understanding different perspectives, and you bring a solution-focused mindset to everything you do.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- Solid knowledge of employment law and how it applies in ER contexts
- Hands-on experience with key ER processes including performance improvement, disciplinary and grievance procedures
- A customer-focused approach and a genuine passion for coaching and supporting managers
- A pragmatic mindset – you know when to stick to policy and when to flex
- A sharp eye for data and insights
