What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Channel Financing & Product Development the European Channel Finance Executive will gain valuable knowledge and understanding of the sectors we operate in, sales origination channels and supply chains as well as Vendor focused financial services products, lending structures and considerations. You will be involved in pricing, creating documentation, reports, reviewing, analysing & interpreting data and make recommendations. The successful candidate must be able to clearly communicate internally and externally and support the Strategic Relationship Manager European Channel Finance to help grow the division and portfolio working with our European partners and customers.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the Channel Financing vendor & customer base paying particular attention to products, product variations, sector segments and geographies
- Support Channel Financing sales lead(s) in the provision of innovative financial solutions to vendors and their customer base, including onboarding new partners/customers, pricing transactions, quoting customers, raising documentation, checking documentation, etc
- Liaise with selected vendors, partners and customers to support and promote Channel Financing products, opportunities and transactions
- Support Channel Financing sales in the generation and maintenance of Channel Finance program and transactional documentation for new and existing programs / customers / suppliers / partners / structures.
- Quickly gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of Mitsubishi HC Capital, Channel Financing products and our value proposition with a view to taking on more responsibility and growing & developing in your current role and next role progression within the team
- Identity opportunities to improve operational processes & procedures and contribute to efficiencies within the division
- Support Head of Channel Financing and sales in creating PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Develop an understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet statements of a financial organization demonstrating an understanding of the key relevant parameters affecting profitability that allow you to create and submit and recommend for approval sound credit applications to the Risk department
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of existing programs and contribute to the successful implementation of new programs
- Monitor relevant KPI's (such as pipeline, performance vs targets, etc) and put actions in place (escalating where necessary) to address changing business needs
- Ensure processes and controls are followed and documented to enable KPI's (such as performance vs target, credit line management, headroom and exposures, transaction run-off management, etc) to be monitored, measured and met
- Analyse data and assist with preparing and enhancing MI for reporting purposes as well and preparing presentations/presentable data, findings and recommendations
- Together with Operations/New Business and Marketing create program and transactional pdf documentation suites with restricted variable fields by program to minimise incorrect documentation and speed up transactional processing
- Ensure Channel Financing documentation structures, processes, controls and business continuity are in place to enable growth and expansion
What are we looking for?

- Experience of working in a corporate environment is desirable – in sales and/or financial services sector
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to produce and present detailed reports and information in a format that is easy to understand
- Open minded with ability to think outside the box
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and positively
- Knowledge of how to conduct research and present findings
- Knowledge of Financial Services products (Stock Finance or Floorplan Finance) is not required but would be considered favourably
- European languages are desirable – Italian, French, Dutch, German, etc
