Trading under the brands of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK in the UK and Mitsubishi HC Capital Europe in the wider market, we are the rapidly growing European division of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC that provides vendor finance solutions to support Mitsubishi group businesses, their distribution channels, and their key accounts across Europe. We build strong effective relationships with our vendor partners and develop bespoke asset finance programs and funding solutions for customers. We are currently present in 5 European countries with expansion into additional markets underway.

What does the role involve? 

Reporting into the European Sales Manager in Amsterdam, the National Sales Manager will be responsible for retaining and developing existing and new customer and vendor relationships in The Netherlands and Belgium. You should have a thorough knowledge of financial products, local markets, assets, vendors and legal documentation. You will need to be able to prepare credit applications so a basic understanding of financial statements is required. Part of the role is to provide assistance to the Collections and Recoveries Team as and when required.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a strong mixture of commercial and risk management capabilities. A self starter who enjoys working in a small team supported by a large international Group. As the National Sales Manager you will be seeking to improve our business volumes in The Netherlands and Belgium whilst managing the current portfolio as well. This will be a proactive and hands-on role.

  • Knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and collections activities
  • Knowledge and experience in the asset finance / commercial lending
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with colleagues in an international environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of working directly with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally, in writing and on the telephone
  • Ability to think outside the box
