We're a rapidly growing division of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC that provides vendor finance solutions to support Mitsubishi group businesses, their distribution channels, and their key accounts across Europe. We build strong effective relationships with our vendor partners and develop bespoke asset finance programs and funding solutions for customers. We're currently present in 5 European countries with expansion into additional markets underway.

What does the role involve?

As a Senior member of the Sales team, develop EVF business in the UK with approved vendors, Mitsubishi Group companies, MUFG and global key accounts as well as implementing cross divisional initiatives between the individual business units of Mitsubishi HC Capital.

Supporting the development of Mitsubishi HC Capital global common strategy, including the business in the Construction, Print, energy efficiency and LED markets through working on Evf programs in Europe.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maximise opportunities with the existing back book of construction customers to enhance the relationships and promote our offering.
  • As part of the Sales team work collaboratively with the rest of the Sales and Business Development team to create opportunities to support the success of Mitsubishi HC Capital.
  • Work closely and with direction of the Sales Manager and Business Development team to develop new and existing vendor programs in UK and Europe to offer tailor made solutions to both vendors and their end customers including leasing, vendor finance programs, wholesale finance facilities and cash management solutions 
  • Identify new market sectors that Evf can enter in to, and develop the products to meet the needs of these customers including pricing and structure of the program
  • Manage assigned vendor relationships and to develop incremental business opportunities in line with objectives set by senior management from time to time.
  • Manage existing customer portfolio, enhancing the relationship and funding their direct business needs.
  • Build and submit credit applications for larger value proposals in the agreed format and present in the credit committee.
  • Review declined proposals or conditional acceptance received from Credit Risk when originated from named vendors and assess the response to determine if an appeal is appropriate. 
  • Enhance any credit proposal that is deemed worthy of appeal and to represent that proposal in a professional manner.

What are we looking for?

You will be a Skilled Sales professional with a strong network, You will have an indepth knowledge of the Asset Finance industry and the ability to make sound commercial decisions.

Also, we're looking for the following:

  • Ability to lead people 
  • Ability to think operationally and strategically
  •  Ability to make sound commercial business decisions
  •  Ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues 
  • Ability to analyse statistics and data.
  • Knowledge of operational systems and process
  • Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain
  • Knowledge of asset finance market in the UK
