What does the role involve?
As a member of the UK and Ireland credit team, you'll participate and contribute to the underwriting, credit analysis and risk management activities originating from Mitsubishi HC Capital Mitsubishi Group relationships, including other vendor programs in the UK and other European countries. You'll form part of the wider European based credit team with opportunities to train and multi-skill across other geographies.
Responsibilities will include:
- To analyse, review and underwrite within delegated mandate, all vendor credit applications ensuring that you deliver an outstanding customer experience
- To prepare credit applications for review and approval by the Head of Credit Risk and Group Credit for onward approvals to Japan
- Ensure that any credit acceptance terms and conditions effectively mitigate risk; using Group Credit Policy and procedures for European Vendor Finance
- Work closely with colleagues across the business – Sales, Collections, Asset Management and Operations
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of commercial credit underwriting
- Knowledge and experience in the equipment and commercial finance sector
- Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and process analysis
