What does the role involve?

As a member of the management team you'll be responsible for safeguarding the asset portfolio from the initial valuation and assessment stage through to back-end disposal. You'll be undertaking valuation and research work in addition to managing end of contract and disposals, complying with accompanying KPI's. You'll have direct experience in asset management and the valuation and disposal of financed assets. The role requires interaction with Sales, Credit, Collections, and Operations therefore it is important that the successful candidate will be able to work independently and with multiple stakeholders.  You'll need to be able to present new assets to Senior Leadership Team for inclusion into the strategy of the business and work to comply with all corporate governance requirements.

Some of your key duties will include: 

• To directly manage the activities of our remarketing process to maximise sale proceeds from asset disposals
• Provide timely valuations to Sales, Credit and Collections
• Participate in the monthly provision meetings
• Responsible for the lifecycle management of the assets in the portfolio
• To lead and manage the semi-annual mark-to-market review of the portfolio with Finance team
• Minimise asset stock holding periods and review the end of term process
• Manage relationships with external audit/valuation partners
• Improve and expand remarketing partners and route to markets for approved assets
