What does the role involve?
As our Head of Channel Finance - Europe, you'll participate and contribute as part of the Senior Leadership Team to our strategic plan and its execution through designing and developing strategies for our sustainable growth. You'll work collaboratively with other leaders to help our expansion in Europe and create opportunities to support the success of Mitsubishi HC Capital.
You'll manage and develop the Channel Business Development team to effectively deliver our asset life cycle financing products across Europe alongside the Group Business Development and Sales teams in the UK and other European countries. You'll be working with team volume and profitability targets while establishing effective financial planning, reporting and control environment in line with Mitsubishi HC Capital accounting policy, procedures and regulatory principles.
You'll be expected to negotiate and present to vendors and customers at CFO/ CEO levels, working with legal and tax advisors and internal stakeholders to progress financial solutions that meet our vendor's requirements.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an individual with strong leadership and management skills. Someone able to think strategically and make sound commercial business decisions. A team player who is able to build relationships at all levels and collaborate with, and influence, senior colleagues.
Also, we're looking for the following experience:
- Strong knowledge of vendor finance programmes and products including receivables purchase, invoice discounting and structured asset finance products
- Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain
- Knowledge of credit and/or operations in asset finance
- Knowledge of the construction, IT and medical equipment finance markets
- Team leadership skills, ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve set objectives
