Trading under the brands of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK in the UK and Mitsubishi HC Capital Europe in the wider market, we are the rapidly growing European division of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC that provides vendor finance solutions to support Mitsubishi group businesses, their distribution channels, and their key accounts across Europe. We build strong effective relationships with our vendor partners and develop bespoke asset finance programs and funding solutions for customers. We are currently present in 5 European countries with expansion into additional markets underway.

What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Sales – Europe, you'll be responsible for leading the team to proactively retain and develop the existing customer and vendor relations. As our National Sales Manager within the Ireland region, you'll flexibility to travel to support our existing customers and develop any new customer and vendor opportunities.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Identifying and developing new opportunities (sectors, suppliers and manufacturers) and managing assigned customer and vendor relationships
- Developing a thorough knowledge of local market and opportunities (assets financed and vendors) including potential product offerings and legal requirements
- Undertaking credit due diligence, to prepare credit proposals and new vendor applications
- Making recommendations with risks and mitigants to the Credit and Leadership Team
What are we looking for?
We're seeking a tenacious sales professional who is full of energy and enthusiasm to grow our portfolio. Your ability to put the customer first will enable you to build solid relationships and you'll have good exposure of working directly with multiple stakeholders in an international environment. You'll have strong drive and ambition and will work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Knowledge of asset finance / commercial lending
- Good knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and collections activities
- Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal and writing skills
- Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues
- Problem solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box
