We're a rapidly growing division of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC that provides vendor finance solutions to support Mitsubishi group businesses, their distribution channels, and their key accounts across Europe. We build strong effective relationships with our vendor partners and develop bespoke asset finance programs and funding solutions for customers. What does the role involve?
As a senior member of the Sales team, develop Evf business in Ireland with approved vendors, and Mitsubishi HC Capital Group companies, MUFG and global key accounts as well as implementing cross divisional initiatives between the individual business units of Mitsubishi HC Capital. Supporting the development of Mitsubishi HC Capital global common strategy, including the business in the energy efficiency markets through working on Evf programs in Europe. Manage the sales activity in Ireland including the acquisition and retention of customers from approved vendors, achieving the agreed targets and work collaboratively with other members of the Finnish and European team to create opportunities to support the success of Mitsubishi HC Capital.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage and lead the Irish sales activity exhibiting leadership and team building skills to review performance and demonstrate the 3-core values Harmony, Sincerity & Pioneering Spirit.
- Support the centralized divisions in reviewing and addressing trends, implementing process improvements and supporting training and guidance§ Work with the sales and BD team to develop sales growth strategies, tactics and action plans, and implement successful execution of these strategies to achieve financial targets in Ireland
- Establishing and fostering partnerships and relationships with key vendors and customers through frequent contact, understanding the vendor distribution models and customer trends and further development requirements under the existing programs.
- Working with the BD team to examine growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development for existing and new customer base § Work with the credit and collections team to improve portfolio quality in Ireland, help support recoveries and disposals
- Regularly report on the progress of negotiations with key vendors, customers and work with FP&A to prepare forecasts and pipelines for Ireland § Present to the SLT on vendor and sector reviews and share information across teams within Evf to support processes and reviews
- Work with the BD and marketing team to roll out campaigns, case studies and presentations to our vendor accounts, attend sectoral exhibitions and workshops.
- Support and manage the existing customer relationships developing the relationship between customers and the customer services team where needed
What are we looking for?
You will be a Skilled Sales professional with a strong network in Ireland, You will have an indepth knowledge of the Asset Finance industry and the ability to make sound commercial decisions.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Ability to manage vendor and customer relationships effectively § Ability to present, plan and report sales activity
- Ability to assess customers from risk perspective, structure deals to enable optimum risk/ return position
- Ability to think operationally and strategically § Ability to make sound commercial business decisions
- Ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues § Ability to analyze statistics and data to help decision making
- Ability to interpret the product requirements of the customer, pricing and margin requirements
- Knowledge of financial products, operational systems and processes required for the sales activity
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations as well as relevant vehicle legislations
- Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and process analysis
- Knowledge of industry sectors such as construction and materials handling
