What does the role involve?
As our Business Development Manager your primary responsibility will be to identify and deliver new vendor finance programme opportunities across The Netherlands.
You'll be working closely with our Head of Business Development to help shape our Business Development strategies, delivering on these to achieve sustainable growth in line with the margin and risk appetite objectives of the Mitsubishi HC Capital Group.
Through your own pipeline initiatives and Mitsubishi Group introductions you'll open doors with new prospective customers, presenting how in partnership we can provide asset financing solutions that meet their requirements. You'll negotiate at C-Suite level to ensure both parties are comfortable with the proposition and that contractual requirements are met. You'll oversee the implementation of customers into our business and work on growing the relationships before handing the customers across to our wider sales team, allowing you to put your focus on Business Development opportunities.

What are we looking for?
To be considered for this role you'll be able to demonstrate your success at delivering new business within the Dutch asset finance market. You'll be proactive, driven to succeed and be a natural relationship builder across a variety of audiences at varying levels.
Also, we're looking for the following experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly with multiple internal and external stakeholders up to CFO/CEO level
- Knowledge of credit risk, documentation, tax, regulation, CRM systems and/or operations in asset finance
- Knowledge of the construction, transport and industrial finance markets
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Dutch and English
